This Privacy Policy explains what data the Apollo People Fetcher Chrome extension (“the Extension”) collects, why, and how it is handled.
Summary
- We collect the account information you provide to sign in (name, email, password) and a license key to authorize your use of the Extension.
- We generate a random device identifier to enforce how many browsers a license may run on.
- The Extension works from your own logged-in Apollo session. The Apollo data it retrieves (contacts, companies) is processed on your device and through Apollo's own API using your account. This contact data is never sent to our servers.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Data we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, password | Create and authenticate your account | Supabase (our backend). Passwords are hashed by Supabase; we never see them in plain text. |
| License key & status | Authorize access and enforce validity / expiry | Supabase |
| Device identifier (random ID) | Enforce the per-license browser limit | Generated locally; stored in your browser and referenced in Supabase |
| Session token | Keep you signed in | Your browser's local storage only |
| Apollo contacts / companies you fetch, and your form settings | Provide the Extension's core features and let you export CSV | Your browser's local storage only — not transmitted to us |
Third-party services
- Supabase (backend for authentication and licensing). Account and license data is stored there. See https://supabase.com/privacy
- Apollo.io. The Extension operates on your active Apollo tab using your own Apollo credentials / session. Your use of Apollo is governed by Apollo's own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
Your account and license data are retained while your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
Security
Authentication and license data are transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed by Supabase. Access to license data is protected by row-level security so users can only read their own records.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
